Welcome to our latest playlist, this week celebrating the biggest of all music conferences, SXSW.

For 11-20 March of this year, the great and the good of the music industry have descended on Austin, Texas to network, eat BBQ and check out the next wave of artists tipped for big things over the next 12 months.

While the event acts as an international sign post for the industry, the UK contingent were particularly strong this year, with important gigs for a wide range of artists. From the PRS for Music and Huw Stephens showcase at the British Music Embassy with Clean Cut Kid and Get Inuit to the BBC 1Xtra and PRS for Music Foundation showcase with Elf Kid and Shakka, there was plenty of ace musical shenanigans going on.
