Welcome to our latest playlist, this week curated by top London DJ Moxie.

From BBC Radio 1’s in New DJs we Trust to Brixton bass mecca DMZ, Moxie is well known for an uncanny musical ability to draw the dots across dance music from dubstep to disco and everything in between.

Her nous as a selector has seen her DJ pretty much everywhere from Fabric's main room to Croatia's Outlook and hosting her own show on east London's NTS radio station.

Here she takes time out of a hectic DJing schedule to provide her perfect BBQ soundtrack and a few words on why. Catch her at festivals across the summer and on NTS every other week...

Marvin Gaye - Trouble Man

Taken from the album Trouble Man, this is one of my all time favourite Marvin Gaye tracks and sets the tone every time!

Little Dragon - My Step

I've recently been going back through their archives on Spotify and listening to everything they’ve ever done and I can confidently say they’re one of my favourite bands.  All their material is class.

BB. King - How Blue Can You Get (Live In Cook County Jail album)

The amount of music B.B King has made over the years is insane, he really was a music machine. This particular version was recorded at the Cook County Jail in 1971 and the recording for this is amazing. I highly recommend putting on the whole album from beginning to end.

Aim - Good Disease

In my teens I listened to a lot of Aim and this track takes me back to when I was 18 and travelling around Brazil. Their albums were the perfect travelling soundtracks when doing 10 hour coach journeys.

Sampha - Temporary View

Sampha’s voice is like no other, so fragile at times and so beautiful.  Every time I hear his voice he makes me stop in my tracks and just listen to everything coming out of his mouth.

David Bowie - Fame

Not much to say than this is an all time classic and Bowie at his best. I feel like this song is made for entering a club in the seventies.

Little John & Billy Boyo - What You Want To Be!

A classic reggae song right here and when the sun is out there’s only one thing to do when this is playing, turn it up all the way.

Outkast - SpottieOttieDopaliscious

This song will never ever age, such a classic and an all time favourite!
