End of the Road is one of the last events in the busy festival season, and offers a gentle, guitar-laden finale to a fine summer of music.

Nestled in the heart of the rolling Wiltshire countryside, the festival attracts a small but committed throng who turn up every year, armed with their twee knits and quirky pale ales ready for a rollicking weekend of wholesome indie fun.

This year’s event promises more of the same great quality, with a comfy line-up of amazing talent old and new. From US indie heavyweights Yo La Tengo and Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks, through to Antipodean psychic stargazer Connan Mockasin and the icy alt-pop of St Vincent, all bases are covered.

So, to toast this year’s event, we’ve put together a playlist featuring some of our favourite acts to grace the stage. You’ll find tracks from Gruff Rhys, Woods, Adult Jazz, Tinariwen, Tune-Yards, Wild Beasts and more. Enjoy!
