Welcome to our latest playlist, this time compiled by Nick Chambers, director of the Beat-Herder Festival.

Now in its eleventh year, the event is the self-proclaimed ‘jewel in the crown’ of northern England’s festival season.

Taking place 15-17 July, this year’s edition welcomes the likes of Primal Scream, Booka Shade, Beardyman and Todd Terje to play at its location in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire.

Commenting on this year’s event, Beat-Herder director Nick Chambers said: ‘We're back with number 11 and last year's tenth birthday was a huge success on all fronts. We're really happy to be welcoming back the family of Herders that we made and that has grown over the years, the atmosphere has to be the greatest quality of Beat-Herder. There's so many different events going on around site - with over 12 stages and shenanigans in between too - it really is hard to take it all in and often it's the smaller unique intimate hand made stages that spark the magic moments and make the unforgettable memories.’

For a flavour, tuck into the playlist below featuring musical moments from the likes of Booka Shade, Digitalism and Primal Scream…
