Welcome to our latest playlist. This week we’re celebrating the release of AM, the fifth and latest album by Sheffield guitar band Arctic Monkeys.

Not only is the record being heralded by critics as the group’s best yet, but it’s on course for being one of the most popular with music buyers. As we write, it’s currently forecast to overtake Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories to enjoy the biggest first week sales of the year so far.

It follows their brilliant headlining slot at Glastonbury earlier this summer while the band are also gearing up to embark on another sold out tour this autumn.
