Originally from East Lancs, singer-songwriter Martin Wardley now lives in Bath (via London).  He popped in to M headquarters to chat about juggling a music career with a ‘day job', his approach to songwriting, and the UK Americana and Bath music scenes. His influences include Johnny Cash, Tom Waits, Nick Cave and Woody Guthrie.

Martin gave M two exclusive performances of tracks from his  album Into The Abyss - showcasing his own brand of 'folky-anglicised-rootsy-rock 'n' roll' with obvious emotional conviction.
