Belleruche are Kathrin DeBoer, Ricky Fabulous, and DJ Modest. Formed in 2005, they were signed to Brighton's Tru Thoughts label after receiving much acclaim for their string of 'home-made' 7" singles.
The band's sound has developed away from their earlier 'turntable soul' style and morphed into a darkly twisted sound of glitchy beats, subbass, looped feedback and smoky jazz and blues.
Belleruche's new album Rollerchain is released in May 2012. New single Stormbird is out now.
