Barry Blue is a songwriter, producer, musician and Managing Director of Favoured Nations Music Publishing in addition to his role as a PRS board director.

Barry began his career at 14, writing Rainmaker Girl for Gene Pitney. He has worked with many artists as producer and writer, including multi-million-selling funk band Heatwave, Bananarama, Brotherhood of Man, Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, Dina Carroll and Lynsey de Paul. One of a small group of songwriter-producers who have had Top Forty hits over five decades, he has sold more than 25 million records.

Barry continues to be heavily involved in songwriting and production, recently working with The Saturdays, Pixie Lott and The Wanted.
