Ash King is a singer and songwriter from London who has become a household name in India, working with some of that country's top music composers.

The Southall-based pop and soul singer has collaborated with a stellar list of talents including AR Rahman, Pritam Chakraborty, Lady Gaga and Raghu Dixit.

Hailing from a family that includes some of the greats of Indian music, including Kishore Kumar, King grew up surrounded by artists such as Ravi Shankar.

His song Te Amo, taken from the Bollywood film Dum Maaro Dum, spent more than a month on the Sunrise Radio chart and he featured on the international remix of Lady Gaga's Just Dance.
