Andy Morgan, Jamie Macneal, Josh Hart and Chris Burgess make up Scams, a Leeds four-piece dealing in sharp, angular guitar pop.

The band have spent the past year honing their choruses and polishing those hooks as best shown off in their debut album Add and Subtract. The blend of guitar, drums and big choruses may be nothing new but these northern scamps put their own stamp all over it.

Gigs across the UK, Europe and even the US have garnered this young act a devoted live following.

We met up with the band at their recent London gig at the Buffalo Bar in Islington and witnessed them blast through live favourite It’s War.
