James Brett - Batman Live

M was lucky enough to visit James at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London to watch him recording the score to Batman Live. James also took the time between recordings to chat to us about his career and give us an insight into composing for film and television.

James Brett is a graduate from The Royal Academy of Music. He has worked on films and television shows including X-Men, Transformers, Event Horizon, Band Of Brothers and Lethal Weapon 4, In addition, he has worked with Metallica, Paul McCartney, Annie Lennox and was assistant musical director for The Queen's Golden Jubilee celebrations.

After working with Michael Kamen, James has established himself as a composer with a bright future. Following massive success with his score of the Walking With Dinosaurs live show, James' latest project is the full choral and orchestral score to the Batman Live arena show which premieres in the UK in july 2011.
