Andrew Roachford first blazed his way through the top 40 with classic pop tracks Cuddly Toy and Family Man back in the late eighties.

But the songwriting ace was no one hit wonder, and he’s gone on to become one of the UK’s best-selling album artists.

Raised in South London to West Indian parents, he was influenced by everyone from Al Green and Michael Jackson to David Bowie.

Garnering inspiration from Radio One, reggae and jazz, he’s been fusing genres and flouting conventions ever since
