Joining the legendary Trident Studios, Soho, in 1970, Ray went on to contribute to Bowie’s Aladdin Sane and Ziggy Stardust LPs, as well as Elton’s Madman Across the Water.

He’s since worked on Led Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti and Presence, and the Stones It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll.

More recent projects include the triple-platinum number one debut album and single by Corinne Bailey Rae and Paul Heaton’s Crosseyed Rambler.
