UK funky firebrand explains why neo-soul artist Gil Scott has struck a chord & reveals the first single she ever bought

UK funky firebrand Katy B is set to return this autumn with her follow up to 2011’s On a Mission album. Fans have already been given a taster with her euphoric new dancefloor track What Love is Made Of, the video to which is currently doing the rounds on YouTube and Facebook.

Her Mercury Prize-nominated debut set spawned three top 10 singles and saw her collaborate with Toddla T, Benga, DJ Zinc and Rinse FM founder Geeneus. In December she released a free EP featuring new collaborations with Jessie Ware, Diplo, Wiley, Iggy Azalea and Jacques Greene.
