The latest Bucks Music Group song camp was aimed squarely at breaking artists and gathered together some of the leading names in pop at RAK Studios for three days of intensive songwriting.

Number one artist Mr Probz was flown in from The Netherlands to join the camp. He worked alongside award-winning songwriter and producer Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith), Alex ‘Cores’ Hayes, Martin Brammer and Hannah Vasanth.

Other breaking artists included Norma Jean Martine (Universal), Ill Blu (Island), Keiran Alleyne (Virgin/EMI), Paige Ashley Young (Roc Nation) and Jake Issac (Asylum).

We went along to chat to song camp leader and Bucks’ A&R director Sarah Liversedge to learn more about the camp.

Watch our video to hear Sarah explain the song camp process…

The song camp was sponsored by PRS for Music, PPL, ASCAP, APRA and Spotify.
