LOML+ has been designed to simplify licensing for online services that exceed the Limited Online Music Licences (LOML) threshold but do not yet meet the full Online Music Licence (OML) threshold. It covers the performing and mechanical rights for most UK online music services, including download, streaming, karaoke and subscription music services.
Please download our LOML+ guide for a summary of service types covered and fees.
Which rights and services are covered?
LOML+ covers the performing and mechanical rights in musical works for most types of online music services (including karaoke) that offer music to the UK public. This includes download services, music streaming sites and subscription music services. Please download our LOML+ guide for a summary of service types covered and fees.
How much does LOML+ cost?
Annual licences start at £2,242 + VAT and the actual rates depend upon the level of music usage. To calculate your annual licence fee, simply match your usage projections to a band and fee of LOML+ in the rate table. We require quarterly reporting to show which works have been used during the licence term.
How do I apply?
Complete the application form or call our licensing team on +44 (0)20 3741 4500 to discuss your requirements. You will need to provide details of your service and submit a completed application. All licensees are allocated an account manager to advise and answer queries throughout the licensing process.
Licences for smaller services
Please read more about the Limited Online Music Licence (LOML) scheme if your music service generates less than £12,500 per annum in gross revenue or uses a limited amount of music.
Online Karaoke Services
Please note PRS for Music is unable to offer a licence for certain repertoire works for online karaoke services. More information, a detailed list of the excluded writers is available.
