“Ellis Rich, Chairman of PRS for Music said: ‘Lennon's iconic songs inspired and symbolised the ideals of the masses so it’s no surprise that 30 years after his death his songs are still as popular as ever.  His invaluable  contribution to the music industry has shaped and inspired countless other musicians. It is absolutely right and fitting to remember him on this anniversary and for the effect his song catalogue has had on all of our lives.”
