For the second year running, PRS for Music are giving your salon the chance to win £5,000 worth of music equipment, plus invaluable guidance from music experts and an exclusive launch event featuring performances from PRS for Music members.
PRS for Music is calling all salon owners across the UK to get their ready to submit entries from 1st March 2016. Entrants will be shortlisted and subsequently go through a judging round where a panel of key music professionals alongside influencers from each sector will participate in deciding the winners.
PRS for Music devised the Music Makeover campaign for salons to showcase and raise awareness of how good music can impact businesses. The quality of the sound system itself, the acoustics, music choice and volume all impact both your customers’ and staff experience.
Celebrating the value of music in hair and beauty salons, PRS for Music is also offering a bespoke music consultation from a leading music and technology expert advising them on the best use of music in their salon and a launch event to celebrate and promote their win featuring live music from PRS for Music members alongside the £5,000 prize.

Last year attracted more than 400 entries with the One.a Salon in Caernarfon being crowned the winners. The salon received a bespoke music consultancy from leading record producer Steve Levine and a new sound system allowing high quality music to be played over its three floors.

In addition, PRS for Music hosted further celebrations at Caernarfon Castle with guest performances from Britain’s Got Talent finalist Côr Glanaethwy. The 140 piece choir entertained an audience of 500 in the intimate surroundings of the castle and the event gained prestigious national and regional media coverage.
