Heritage Awards

In 2009, the PRS for Music Heritage Award scheme was launched to celebrate British musicians and iconic venues across the country.

The Heritage Award scheme honours sites that have witnessed the birth of some of the nation’s most loved music icons, placing a Heritage plaque on the site that signifies the musicians' and bands first gig.

Take a look at the recipients below to discover who has been awarded with a Heritage plaque and where they first gigged.
