Would you like to work in the music industry?

It’s hard to get in!

At PRS for Music, we are offering 5 places on our "Inside Track" programme. This scheme is designed to give a thorough grounding in our business namely collective rights management and royalty distribution and enhance your understanding of how our industry works. Many of our employees go on to work at the leading music publishers, record labels and other digital music employers. The best part is that you do not need a qualification, or music industry experience to apply and be considered, just ability and determination.

What do we offer?

This is a two year programme where you will work in a number of different departments on a rotation type basis. At the end of the two year period you will be given career development support and be considered for vacancies which exist at that time within PRS. You will be paid a salary of £22,500 per annum during the two year period, and will be eligible for a bonus at the successful completion of the programme.

What you will be doing

You will get the opportunity to work in a number of different departments within our business including operations, licensing, membership (customer facing) and strategy/planning. You will be a member of the team, learning the job alongside other team members, and you will also be given on-job training to enable you to develop your skills and knowledge in areas such as business and data analysis, project planning, business writing and continuous improvement.

You will work in our beautiful new offices in Kings Cross and Streatham which include subsidised canteens and roof terraces.
