Looking for space to work on your songwriting?
Are you struggling financially and in need of space to create or find respite? The PRS Members’ Fund can help.
The PRS Members’ Fund offers a scheme giving PRS members in need time away from home by providing board and lodging elsewhere. Eligible members have a chance to rest, recuperate, research, work on their music and songs (alone or in collaboration), rehearse, or simply have a short break.
Whether it’s a trip to somewhere peaceful to work on your writing, a holiday space with your band to try new songs, or even a local retreat to give you the space to focus on the next steps in your career – whatever it may be, do get in touch to learn more.
Last year the scheme helped PRS members with accommodation in the Lake District, Wales, Paris, Brighton and many more. Here’s what some of our members who benefited had to say:
“The break gave me invaluable time and space and renewed energy, and renewed faith in my own work.”
“It has given me artistic satisfaction, improved my wellbeing and also led to some major business and career opportunities. I would just like to say how grateful I am for being part of the scheme, long may it continue.”
This scheme is kindly funded by the Francis W Reckitt Arts Trust. Their financial support received means the Fund can offer these opportunities and we are grateful for their support.
Please note that the grant will only be used to cover board and lodging, it can’t go towards travel, studio hire or equipment purchase. You’ll be asked to fill out an application form and provide details of your potential trip.
