Dubbed Amplify the Buzz, the free session will take place at BBC Broadcasting House on Saturday 27 September with host DJ Monki (pictured) and guest speakers Joey Swarbrick (Rizzle Kicks, Juce), Emma Marsh (Clancy, XO, The Busy Twist) and Ali Raymond (Palace, Eliza Shaddad, Turtle).

All three speakers will discuss how managers can best build their acts from spot plays on the radio to household names, and will see the managers share their firsthand experiences with the BBC Introducing platform.

As well as hearing valuable insight into artist management, the afternoon event will also provide the opportunity for 18 to 25 year old future industry professionals to build on their own business networks.

The ninth event from the Young Guns Network directly follows the BBC Introducing day on 25 September, which will celebrate the platform’s most successful alumni and shine a spotlight on some of the most exciting acts to emerge recently.

Kieran Yeates, BBC Introducing producer said: ‘BBC Introducing is committed to supporting not just new artists, but also those wanting to gain experience within the music industry.

‘We have lots of exciting plans for the year ahead and are thrilled to be partnering with the Young Guns Network to host a special panel event equipping a new generation of managers within the necessary tools to help their acts become superstars.’
