Irish punk band The Undertones are to celebrate the 35th anniversary of their hit Teenage Kicks with a new greatest hits compilation.

An Introduction to The Undertones, a 22 track CD features all of the biggest moments from across the career of the band.

The release, which comes out on Salvo as part of their Sound and Vision series on 3 June, also features additional video content alongside the hits.

Seven promo videos from 1978-1983 are included alongside the Teenage Kicks: The Story Of The Undertones documentary which sees the late John Peel travelling to Derry to meet the band back in 2001.

The Irish group, which featured John and Damian O’Neill on guitars, Michael Bradley on bass, Billy Doherty on drums, and Feargal Sharkey on vocals, released Teenage Kicks back in 1978.

The Undertones now feature Paul McLoone on vocals and will be on tour in support of release across the summer.
