VERSO want to discuss concrete, practical ways of ensuring songwriters are once again properly compensated for their work, from user-centric payment systems (UCPS) to per diems for artist development.

The event, named ‘The German songwriter streaming revolt: re-slicing the royalty pie’, will take place on Wednesday 26 March at Lewis Silkin, Chancery Lane.

Speakers include:

Michelle Leonard, singer, songwriter, artist developer and publisher, VERSO.

Ali Zuckowski, songwriter, music producer, VERSO, co-founder of VESO and deputy board member, GEMA.

Helienne Lindvall, songwriter, journalist and board director, The Ivors Academy.

Tickets are free for Ivors’ members and £10 for non-members. Find out more about joining The Ivors Academy here.
