This year’s awards ceremony, which will celebrate the best British and Irish music of the year, will take place at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle on 16 October.
The winner of the esteemed annual prize, which was won last year by English Teacher for their debut record This Could Be Texas, will be decided by an independent judging panel of music industry professionals who, organisers say, are ‘eternally passionate about spotlighting artistic achievement across a range of genres’.
