The Joe Strummer Foundation has teamed up with Independent Venue Week (IVW) to host a show featuring Arrows of Love (pictured), Yowl, Lice and more.

It will take place at the Brass Monkey, Hastings, on 3 February. London’s Bloody Knees and acerbic four-piece Heavy Lungs will also perform.

All proceeds go towards the Joe Strummer Foundation fund, which provides opportunities to musicians and support to projects that create empowerment through music.

Tickets cost £7, including booking fee, and are available from https://brassmonkeyhastings.nutickets.com/39698

IVW is a seven-day celebration of small music venues around the UK and a nod to the people that own, run and work in them, week in, week out. It takes place from 29 January to 4 February.

Among this year’s sponsors and supporters are PRS for Music, PRS for Music Foundation, Attitude is Everything, BBC Music, Musicians’ Union and the Joe Strummer Foundation.
