Jones, a student at the Royal Conservatoire Scotland, won with her score for Hannah, a short film directed by Michael Crumley.

She was originally shortlisted alongside fellow conservatoire students Alec Cheer and Drew Wright (for their Sarah's Room score) and Tim Courtney (for Sunsets & Silhouettes).

The award was sponsored by PRS for Music and judged by 50 industry insiders.

The ceremony, which recognised the achievement and potential of young filmmakers and musicians working in Scotland, took place in Glasgow earlier this week and was presented by broadcaster Muriel Gray.
