UK grime artist Ghetts is to perform his 2007 mixtape Ghetto Gospel as part of a special live gig at London’s Roundhouse.

Taking place on Monday 30 January, Ghetto Gospel will be part of the venue’s In the Round event series.

Originally a member of the notorious grime collective NASTY Crew alongside Kano, Jammer , Marcus Nasty, Ghetts released numerous mixtapes before his debut album, Rebel Without a Cause in 2014.

The album brought live musicians into Ghett’s musical framework and earned him three MOBO nominations - Best Male, Best Album and Best Grime Artist.

The upcoming performance will see Ghetts revisit his 2007 mixtape Ghetto Gospel seeing him perform it in full for the first time. The release saw tracks Top 3 Selected and Stage Show Don became massive clubland hits and, after shifting an 6,000 units in its first week, helped Ghetts breakthrough that year.

The series will also see the likes of Julian Cope and Lambchop perform.
