Garry Schyman (BioShock Infinite) and Jessica Curry (Dear Esther) are among the video game composers speaking at Game Music Connect 2014.

The event, which will take place on 24 September at the Purcell Room at London’s Southbank Centre, brings together established and emerging composers to discuss many of the challenges and opportunities in the video game industry.

Steve Schnur, EA’s worldwide executive of music, will open the event with a key note address while Game Music Connect co-founder and BAFTA and International Film Music Critics Association award winning composer James Hannigan will also be speaking.

James said: ‘It’s a huge thrill to be back for 2014 and a great honour to have such wonderfully talented, diverse and influential guests join us for the day.

‘As promised last year, we will be covering the innovative indie game music scene this time around, as well as continuing our focus on blockbusters and the challenges of interactive music.’

Visit www.gamemusicconnect.com for more information on the event and how to apply for tickets.

Early bird tickets are currently available until 31 May.
