Indie rock act Everything Everything are to curate the week-long Chaos to Order residency at Manchester Library.

Running from 10 – 15 November, the residency will see the group work with a range of artists from all disciplines and media to stage a number of events over the week.

In a statement, the band said: ‘We have long been attracted to chaos. Documenting the overload of information in which we live - its overwhelming vastness, its beauties and its dangers - has been central to our work.

‘We are also attracted to the egalitarianism of the public library as an institution. Anyone can enter and indulge any interest. We want to curate a residency that will reflect and explore this.’

The Mancunian band’s residency is part of the Library Live event series. More information on their participation is expected soon.
