Presented by the Scottish Music Industry Association (SMIA), with industry partners including PPL and Help Musicians Scotland, the award celebrates, promotes and rewards the most outstanding Scottish albums released each year.

This year, the winner will receive £20,000 while nine runners-up will each receive £1,000.

To qualify, the album must have been released between 1 April 2017 and 31 March 2018 and must contain original, previously unreleased material.

You have until the end of May to enter. For more info, see https://www.sayaward.com

Previous winners include Sacred Paws’ Strike A Match (2017), Anna Meredith’s Varmints (2016) and Young Fathers’ Tape Two (2014).
