Rachel K Collier, James Orvis, KVASIR and Prospa have been announced as the emerging acts chosen to play BBC Music Introducing and PRS Foundation's showcase at this year's Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).

BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard and Monki helped to pick the four artists selected and will host the showcase along with BBC Music Introducing DJ, Marcellus Wallace.

The five-day electronic music conference and festival is now the largest club festival of its kind in the world.

Bhavesh Patel, programme manager at PRS Foundation said: 'We’re delighted to be ensuring that artists making electronic music can also benefit from our BBC Music Introducing and PRS Foundation partnership.

'We know how important overseas showcasing is to an artists’ career development, as seen in our recent report on international showcasing, and so we’re excited to be supporting these four brilliant artists to have this opportunity to showcase in Amsterdam.'

Dan Roberts, editor at BBC Music Introducing added: 'Our showcase at ADE is another step towards improving BBC Music Introducing’s commitment to dance music. We’re really excited to see this great line up of exciting live electronic artists play their first international gig.'

The festival is on from 18 to 22 October, with the showcase taking place at Chicago Social Club on 19 October.

Ahead of the festival, PRS for Music and Sony/ATV Music Publishing Holland are holding a two day songwriting camp for PRS for Music members to meet, work and collaborate with other songwriters, producers ans singers in the dance and electronic music fields.

It will take place from 16 to 17 October at Studio Keuken.
