Blowzabella are set to mark 35 years of music-making with an exclusive concert on 12 October featuring Andy Cutting, Jo Freya, Paul James, Gregory Jolivet, David Shepherd, Barn Stradling and Jon Swayne. The celebration will also include an afternoon dance workshop.

Meanwhile singer-songwriter Carter will join forces with Canadian folk musician Catherine MacLellan on 16 October for a special collaboration arranged by the Canadian music development agency.

Later in the season The Full English Tour will land at Cecil Sharp House, bringing folk stars Seth Lakeman, Martin Simpson, Fay Hield, Nancy Kerr, Sam Sweeney, Rob Harbron and Ben Nicholls to the prestigious venue.

They will be performing new music inspired by The Full English, the world's biggest free digital archive of English traditional folk music and dance tune manuscripts, and were commissioned by EFDSS with support from PRS for Music Foundation.

In November, the venue will play host to A Celebration of Graeme Miles, marking the life and contribution of the iconic singer-songwriter and EFDSS Gold Badge holder, who passed away earlier this year. The concert will feature The Unthanks, The Wilsons, The Young’uns, Martyn Wyndham Read and Iris Bishop, Mike Nicholson, and Robin Dalewith, with proceeds being shared between Teesside Hospice and the EFDSS Future of Folk Fund.
