Daft Punk’s Get Lucky has seen more than 100m streams on Spotify since it was added to the subscription service in April this year.

According to Music Ally, the song was streamed 6m times during its first week of release and almost 25.5m times in its first full month.

Reaching 100m over three months shows that the popularity of the song on Spotify has remained constant, the news provider reported.

The second most popular song from the duo’s Random Access Memories album is Instant Crush. The track, which features Juliun Casablancas from the Strokes has been played almost 15m times via Spotify.

Get Lucky has been one of the most popular singles of recent times after the song enjoyed the biggest first day in the history of Spotify for the streaming of a single song.

The record was the first to go past one million sales in 2013 and has subsequently become one of the most popular of all time.

Previously, BPI stated that the song’s performance was indicative of a bumper period for dance music.

Official charts company data released by the organisation in July showed that dance music accounted for 16.3 percent of singles sales in the last six months, a figure up on the 14.1 percent share seen in the same period last year.
