BIME Pro, the Spanish music, tech and games conference, is set to celebrate its fifth anniversary when it returns later this year.

The event, held in Bilbao, is the largest meeting point in Europe for Latin American entertainment industry executives.

This year’s instalment will take place from 25 to 28 October and features guest speakers including Heaven 17’s Martyn Ware, Jane Beese, head of music at the Roundhouse, London, Benji Rodgers (PledgeMusic) and Vaughn McKenzie, JAAK chief executive.

BIME Pro offers networking opportunities plus keynote speeches, panel discussions and presentations focused on the Spanish and Latin American music markets.

Alongside the conference, BIME Live will feature performances from The Prodigy, Kiasmos and Mark Eitzel.

Christophe Cassan, BIME Pro project manager, said: ‘Now in its fifth year, BIME Pro invites music and tech industry visionaries from across the globe to network and explore new ideas in a unique forum not found at regular conferences, with the emphasis on connecting Latin/South American and European business partners.

For 2017, our focus will be on strengthening the Congress of Spanish Festivals, inviting the representatives of some of the most important artists in today's music scene, while continuing to grow the Startup Summit internationally to become a reference for creative entrepreneurship.’
