Recording engineer Alan Parsons is to present a new lecture series called Sleeve Notes: From Mono to Infinity at Abbey Road Studios.

Beginning on Friday 13 November, Alan Parsons will give the talks in Abbey Road’s famous Studio Two.

Hosted by music journalist David Hepworth, the lauded producer and musician will give insight into the recording of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side Of The Moon, including an audio demonstration of the famous clocks at the start of Time.

Alan will also provide an in-depth exploration of his work on The Beatles’ Abbey Road, including pioneering recording and mixing techniques and studio effects.

Sleeve Notes: From Mono to Infinity will provide fans of the music Alan has worked on with insight into the technical and personal experiences of his time at the studios.
