They will be joined by composer Iain Sutherland, Mark King (bassist, Level 42), jazz singer songwriter Norma Winstone MBE and John Logan (PRS for Music Members Benevolent Fund) and several other key figures working across the UK music industry (full recipients list below).

The event takes place on 13 October 2015 at The Savoy, London, and is presented by Guy Fletcher OBE on behalf of the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors (BASCA).

Stephen McNeff, BASCA chairman, said: BASCA is delighted to recognise the unique contribution each person announced today has made to the professional lives of songwriters and composers.

‘This is a truly diverse and inspirational group of people, champions of British music who have worked in the public eye and behind the scenes to ensure music is heard and thrives.’

Founded in 1974, the Gold Badge Awards recognise exceptional people from across the music industry who have worked to support British songwriters and artists. PRS for Music and PPL are sponsoring this year’s event.
