2010 Gold Badge Awards

The 37th Gold Badge Awards took place on Wednesday 20th October at The Savoy, London. The awards are hosted by Guy Fletcher OBE and presented by BASCA in association with PRS for Music.

The 37th Gold Badge Awards took place on Wednesday 20th October at The Savoy, London. The awards are hosted by Guy Fletcher OBE and presented by BASCA in association with PRS for Music.

Recipients are presented with a gold tuning-fork lapel-badge and a certificate of honour. The badge is worn by past recipients as an acknowledgement from their friends and colleagues of the skill, devotion and commitment they have displayed in their particular field.

Congratulations to 2010's Gold Badge winners who include the pianist, conductor and composer Howard Blake; Tom Bradley - the former Deputy Managing Director of EMI Music Publishing and Chairman of MCPS and the MPA; Britain’s most popular soprano, Lesley Garrett; Led Zeppelin founder John Paul Jones; Jazz legend Julian Joseph; Kashmir Club creator, Tony Moore who has given a platform to hundreds of singer-songwriters including Damien Rice, KT Tunstall and Tom Baxter; M People singer Heather Small and Brian Willey, whose achievements include 43 years of service as a BBC radio producer, Vice-Chairman of the Songwriters’ Guild, Chairman of the Ivor Novello Award Committee and recently celebrated 30 years service with the committee of the PRS for Music Members Benevolent Fund.
