This week there are three - count them! - PRS for Music Featured Artists. Dinosaur Pile Up, Bones and Hind Ear are all performing at the PRS for Music Showcase at The Great Escape. The event takes place at Jam, 9 - 12 Middle Street Brighton BN1 1AL on 13 May.

Dinosaur Pile-Up are a Leeds three piece whose debut album, Growing Pains was released to glowing reviews in 2010. The album has spawned three singles so far, Birds And Planes, My Rock N Roll and Mona Lisa two of which have enjoyed playlist support from Radio One. A new single, entitled Daydream, will be released in June as part of a new EP ahead of summer festival dates. The band recently returned from dates in the US and Mexico, with Camden Crawl wrapping up a 66 date live run for the band.

Bones are a 3 piece band from Camden who are currently tearing up venues across London with the fervour and vehemence of an act intent on displacing the standard notions of what pop music represents. Combining raw guitars, pulsating drums and the seductive voice of vocalist, Grey, their arsenal of songs bleeds passion, guile and energy, making them one of the hottest acts in the UK today and promise to raise the bar even higher in 2011.

Hind Ear create a multi-armed, multi-voiced wall of rhythm and melody. Employing loops and layers of guitar, voices, drums, synths and samples, their sound cuts across multiple scales, from headphones to dancefloor.
