Here’s the problem with the end of the year: all the seasons get mixed in together. So while some people are filled with the autumnal spirit of browning leaves and flavoured coffees, others are decorating for Halloween while Christmas ephemera begins to encroach on prime retail real estate. The good news is, that means that about this time of year we get a seasonal single to suit all moods. This week Los Bitchos get in early with their Christmas single Los Chrismos, off a specially reworked festive edition of their debut album Let the Festivities Begin! Meanwhile, The Big Moon keep things autumnal with Daydreaming, while Dry Cleaning present something to hide from wet weather with on No Decent Shoes for Rain.
Also on our playlist this week, newcomer Darla Jade shares Impostor Syndrome, NEO 10Y returns with Spiritual Viagra, and Witch Fever push back against oppressive feminine beauty standards on Beauty and Grace.
