Far from the critical eye and the over crowded streets of London Town, The Castells have gone about building up a strong fan base and a live show unrivalled in passion and heart. Performing live is where these boys thrive and boy do they put on a show. In their short time in the spotlight, The Castells have graced stages with Noah and The Whale Frankie and The Heartstrings, The Chapman Family, Little Comets and Summer Camp to name but a few. Their recent Great Escape performance was lauded as a highlight of the weekend.

2011 has got off to a flyer with Radio 1’s Fearne Cotton inviting them to record a ‘BBC Introducing’ Session at the world famous Maida Vale studios. Fearne gave them their Radio 1 debut in March and the feedback was off the chart. That very week, Radio 1’s Huw Stephen’s followed suit and played them on his show and also included them on his weekly podcast. You would think the boys had smashed the BBC enough but no they added plays by Tom Robinson and BBC Newcastle to their already impressive haul. The Castells however are no strangers to the Radio Waves after performing sessions and interviews on regional stations, Spark FM, Amazing Radio and Metro FM.

Debut single Romance is available now via hip singles imprint Tape Club Records.
