You may not be familiar with singer-songwriter Roxanne Emery’s name yet, but the chances are you’ve heard her music on the telly. Her songs have soundtracked primetime shows both sides of the Atlantic, including Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Awkward, Cougar Town and Hollyoaks.
Her strand of heartfelt pop is more than just TV-friendly though; last year, Roxanne’s debut headline show at London’s Bush Hall sold out within an hour. She was later invited to support Matt Cardle on his UK and European tour and this June, embarks on her own UK headline tour.
A fiercely independent artist, Roxanne is bringing the DIY aesthetic to pop, having written and produced all her album. It will be released through her own label LATE Records to coincide with the tour. Also on the LATE roster are upcoming songwriters Christina Novelli, LJ Ayrten and Antony Raine.
