Scottish band GoGoBot burst onto the music scene in 2011 with a strident mix of synth anthems and infectious pop melodies. The band’s unique sound is fuelled by their own eclectic tastes, purpose, dark humour and intimacy, cleverly disguised with quirky pop hooks.
Throughout 2011 they released the ‘See Saw Series’ (6 single releases) and enjoyed widespread success with plays on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 2, to name but a few.
The band also enjoyed a busy festival season playing at T in the Park, RockNess, Wickerman, Belladrum, Guilfest and Bestival where, festival curator and BBC Radio 1 DJ, Rob Da Bank invited the band to appear not once but twice over the acclaimed weekend.
