At just 15 years young, she reached the final of UK Live and Unsigned before beginning work on her own material and throwing herself into a regular gigging schedule. Not only has she a tireless work ethic, but this Oxford-based star in the making has proved herself to have a great voice and winning way with her ace blend of hip hop and soul styles.
It’s a raw talent which saw Ella win last year’s Pardon My Talent music contest, a new music competition with judges including representatives from Island Records, SB.TV and singer Jacob Banks.
Her other accolades include support slots with Clean Bandit and Route 94 collaborator Jess Glynne and hotly tipped producer MNEK. She’s also been named as one of the 20 finalists in MOBO’s Unsung competition. The contest has been set up to sign post the best emerging artists and suggests that Ella is definitely one to watch over the coming months. Look out for a new single from her in August…
