How long have you been making music?
Since I was a small child. The house where I grew up was always full of music & different instruments. Writing and playing was a big pastime, the escape of an only child.
What inspired your latest album/songs?
So many things, personal circumstances , social frustration, dreams...
What process do you go through to create your music?
No single process, no formula, we just write a lot - on tour, in the studio, wherever the muse takes us.
How would you describe your sound?
I wouldn't even try.
What would your dream collaboration be?
I'd like to do a show with Bruce Springsteen, I'd love to hear Björk's vocals on our record, and one of my dream collaborations has actually just happened; with the fabulous Steve Nieve.
Where can we catch you performing next?
We'll be touring the States through December and then we'll see you in 2012 with a new album.
