With their debut EP Winter Nets landing this Friday (26 January), and a live show at Rough Trade East tonight, we caught up with the team to learn what gets them over the finish line…
What was the first song you developed an obsession for?
I bought Nizlopi's JCB Song as a CD single so I must have been pretty into that.
What’s the first gig you went to?
Egyptian Hip Hop, Django Django and New Young Pony Club at an Underage Festival club night in 2010.
What’s the first instrument you ever got hold of?
Five hard years of piano lessons, I got to grade three before they pulled the plug.
What is your worst musical habit?
The E chord.
What’s the best piece of musical advice you’ve ever been given?
‘Write Common People’ - Stu Clarke

Online.
What’s your favourite venue?
Sporting Clube de Londres (Westbourne Park)
