Jacob Martin and Matthew Lambert are Bristol pair, Outboxx, a duo who’ve been leading dancefloors on a merry dance through their collections of house, techno, dub and disco ever since they first hooked up back in 2011.

As with many Bristolians, their music may envelope these various electronic offshoots but also has its roots in the bass that the city is so well known for. They’ve been a bedrock of the local scene having put out records on staunch independents Idle Hands and Future Boogie.

After killer releases such as Dolph’s Vision and Aporia found their way into the DJ sets of underground players Tamo Sumo and Julio Bashmore, the pair spread their songwriting wings across last year’s self titled debut LP. They’ve since connected with vocalist Naomi Jeremy and continued serving up bangers… get to know them in our 30 seconds interview and check our feature on Bristol’s ever-creative music scene…
