Supporting Beyonce is perhaps the dream gig for new and upcoming artists.

So in many ways, French producer and DJ Monsieur Adi is already at the top of his game after being hand picked by the superstar to open her Mrs Carter Show World Tour dates.

Beyonce is not the only A-list popster to fall for the musical charms of the Frenchman. He counts the likes of Ellie Goulding, Laura Mvula and Bastille among his remixed scalps while he’s also started concentrating on his own material including the Fire Fire Fire EP.

He originally found his musical feet on the piano and the violin and the sounds of Serge Gainsbourg, Michael Jackson and Madonna. After flirting with fashion and architecture as possible careers, he flung himself into music production and has never looked back.

Adi’s latest colourful pop collaborations include What's Going On? with

British songstress A*M*E, Stay Up Late co-written with MNEK and Some Kind Of Love featuring Electric Youth. A debut album is reportedly in the pipeline for later this year…

I first started writing music because…
I thought it would be something new and interesting to try. It helped me get a lot off of my mind.

I have been making music since…
2008.

My music is…
Cinematic, melodic, emotional, and refined, yet gritty.

You'll like my music if you listen to...
Daft Punk, Justice, Mirwais, Bjork and other electronic artists.

My favourite venue is…
Oddly enough, my favourite venue has been The O2!

Music is important because…
It allows for the deepest thoughts and feelings to be expressed that are sometimes hard to express in simple words.

My biggest inspiration is…
My mother. She always taught me to dream big and do the best that I could do.

My dream collaboration would be…
It would be a dream to collaborate with Bjork and Daft Punk in the same room. I think we could come up with something epic!

To try me out, listen to my song…
Some Kind Of Love as I think it combines all of the true elements of my sound.

If I wasn’t making music I’d be…
I would probably be designing buildings or clothes.

In 10 years time I want to be…
Recognised for my work with at least one GRAMMY to my name. I would love to have scored several films by this time and of course have released an album or two!
