Let’s Eat Grandma are two teenage sonic sorceresses whose epileptic dream-pop has thrown the airwaves into disarray this year.

Their vivid songwriting and enchanting melodies are doused in dry wit and musical reckoning way beyond their tender years, making Jenny Hollingworth and Rosa Walton extremely hot property right now.

The pair release their debut album I, Gemini on 17 June through Transgressive Records, offering up minimal electronics and foreboding ambience in abundance. Judging by the column inches already given over to its praise, it could well be the most lauded debut of the year.

The eerie soundtrack provides the perfect foil to their disjointed chanting, while incantations about starfish, shiitake mushrooms and cats only pile on the mystic eccentricity.

We caught up with our previous Featured Artist of the Week girls ahead of their upcoming live dates (details below) to learn a little more about their topsy-turvy musical world…

We first started making music because…
We forget?

We have been making music since…
The 'end of the world’.

Our music is…
Best served chilled.

You'll like our music if you listen to...
Western music.

Our favourite venue is…
Norwich Arts Centre.

Music is important because…
It’s a natural human instinct.

Our biggest inspiration is…
Each other.

Our dream collaboration would be…
Frank Ocean.

To try us out, listen to our song…
Sink.

If we weren’t making music we’d be…
Lifeguards.
