EERA, aka Anna Lena Bruland, is a Norwegian singer songwriter who channels the icy drama of her homeland into soaring soundscapes.

Her bare bones songs carry traces of Sharon Van Etten, Marika Hackman, Pixx and PJ Harvey, before stereoscopic pop choruses swoop in to break the minimal tension.

Now based in London, Anna has made her first forays with the House Arrest record label, releasing her shamelessly unadorned EP EERA last month.

With upcoming performances at The Great Escape from 19 to 21 May and a slot at End of the Road Festival in September, it seems Anna’s on a mission to give her soulful Scandi pop a good airing in 2016.
